Civil Litigation
I handle a variety of types of general civil litigation ranging from family/marital law issues to personal injury cases. In one of my first law jobs after I graduated from law school, I worked for a medium sized personal injury firm for several years. While there I learned the ins and outs of plaintiff’s personal injury practice and was able to settle hundreds of cases for our clients resulting is total settlement values approaching one million dollars in total settlement value. Since leaving that firm, I continue to handle personal injury cases on a regular basis. Although personal injury cases are not a big part of my practice, when I do take them, I work aggressively for my clients in order to achieve the best resolution possible for my clients whether through settling the case prior to filing a lawsuit or, if necessary, by filing a lawsuit and pursuing the matter through trial.
I also handle some non-institutional business collection matters and general civil matters, such as contract disputes, divorces, separation agreements, simple wills, powers of attorney, healthcare powers of attorney, and other matters. If I have not listed an issue that you have a question about, call me anyway. If I don’t handle that issue, chances are quite good that I know someone who does.
